Parent Management Committee
On 22nd November 1988 the pre-school became an incorporated body known as the Wauchope Preschool Kindergarten Incorporated. This means:
The preschool is run by a Parent Management Committee made up of parents who volunteer their services. The Committee is formed at the Annual General Meeting held during August each year and meets monthly.
at least one parent/carer of each child attending the pre-school must become a member of the association and a second parent/carer is also entitled to join. The membership fee for one family member, each year, is included in the enrolment fee. Membership forms are available at the pre-school together with rules regarding membership.
If you have the time, would like to meet, work and socialise with other parents, we are always seeking volunteers to join the committee or to assist with activities (especially fund raising). Please speak to the Director who can put you in contact with committee members or can act as a liaison between yourself and the Committee.
If you have any complaints or praise about the way the preschool is operating, suggestions for improvements or anything else you think we should know, you can speak to the Director who is our liaison point or ask her to get us to contact you.
Please remember this is a volunteer organisation. Any help you give (time, assistance, donations) can only improve the quality of your child’s experience at pre-school.
